Welcome to the first official post of Dudes or Duds. I am here to tell you what players are all hype and which players are the real deal. The Dude or Dud posts will tell you not only who you should pick up, but the posts should tell you who to trade for and who to not.
Dude

Philadelphia Eagles RB: Corey Clement
The Eagles are infected with the injury bug right now. With starting running back Jay Ajayi out with a back injury and Darren Sproles out with a hamstring injury. Therefore Corey Clement is on top of the depth chart. The Eagles have a beefy line and the defenses should be focusing on the return of Carson Wentz and not on the run game. Corey Clement has proven to productive with the other running backs healthy so I predict Corey Clement to be a solid RB2 start week 3.
Dude
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB: Jameis Winston
Trade/pickup Winston while you still can. Ryan Fitzpatrick is red hot right now. Jameis Winston’s suspension is over after week 3. In the preseason Winston finished with an average of 126.9 QBR over the 3 games he played in(according to www.fantasy.nfl.com). Not many people are, but I am confident he wins the starting job. The Buccaneers offense is loaded with weapons in the passing game. At the end of the year I predict Winston to finish as a top 10 QB despite missing 3 games.
Dud
Jacksonville Jaguars RB: Corey Grant
Yes, another Corey and he is on the other side of the spectrum as our first dud of the list. I see many lists all over suggesting to pick up Corey Grant. My advice, don’t. According to www.espn.com there is a good chance Leonard Fournette might be starting week 3. Fournette is the workhorse RB in Jacksonville and if he is active I would deem Corey Grant as at most a sloppy start in the flex in a deep league. Corey Grant might have some upside if Fournette is hurt, but I see Fournette getting back on the field soon.
Dud
Seattle Seahawks TE: Will Dissly
The hype is all around Will Dissly right now. Currently in my league he ranks as the #1 TE. Dissly should be hitting a plateau soon as I see him as the typical yearly TE who is only hot for a few gams. The TE position usually has a player with couple good games causing everyone to desire them. With Greg Olsen and Delanie Walker out for a good chuck of time there should be a high demand for TEs in your league and if your lucky enough to have Dissly I believe now is the time to sell. Unless Dissly scores week 3 his stock is only going to go down.
